Kappa Tracker is a free, fan-made set of planning tools for Escape from Tarkov players. It started as a simple checklist for the Collector quest, the final hurdle for the Kappa secure container, and has grown into a small toolbox for the things players otherwise track in notes apps and spreadsheets.
The tools
- Collector tracker — every item required for the Collector quest, with separate progress for PVE, PVP and Seasonal characters.
- Kappa Tasks — the prerequisites for unlocking Kappa: scav karma, trader loyalty levels and required quests.
- Modifier Planner — plan Season 1 Kord Breach perks, balance positive and negative modifiers and share your three-slot build.
- Battle Pass Planner — track claimed rewards, build a wishlist and see how many TerraGroup documents you still need.
- Allergy Tracker — keep notes on the hidden allergies from the ALLERGIC modifier.
- Stash Optimizer — enter your case counts and generate a compact stash layout.
How your progress is saved
Progress is stored in your browser by default. If you sign in with Discord, it is saved to our server so you can use it across devices and share a read-only profile link. Sign-in is optional; see the Privacy Policy for details.
Where the data comes from
Item names, quest information and icons come from the community-maintained Escape from Tarkov Wiki and from tarkov.dev. Game names, artwork and icons are the property of Battlestate Games. We keep our data in sync with these sources after game updates and wipes; if you spot something out of date, please tell us.
Why it exists
Tarkov asks you to keep track of a lot: dozens of Collector items, a long list of Kappa prerequisites, seasonal modifiers and Prestige requirements, all of which differ between PVP, PVE and Seasonal characters. In-game there is no single place to see what is left, so Kappa Tracker gives each of those goals its own checklist or planner that you can open next to the game.
How it is kept up to date
Item lists, quest objectives and Prestige requirements are stored with the site and refreshed with sync scripts that pull from the wiki and tarkov.dev, then reviewed by hand before release. Perk values and battle pass rewards are entered from the game itself. After each wipe or patch the lists are re-checked, and every user-visible change is recorded on the Changelog.
What we try to do
- Keep every tool free and usable without an account.
- Keep your progress yours: separate PVE, PVP and Seasonal progress, and a read-only share link only if you choose to sign in.
- Show where data comes from and what each tool can and cannot do, in the guide under every tool.
- Fix data errors quickly when players report them.
Who runs it
Kappa Tracker is built and maintained by an independent Tarkov player. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Battlestate Games. The site is supported by advertising that helps pay for hosting.
