What we collect
- Google Analytics (GA4) — cookies and similar technologies that collect usage information (for example, pages visited, general location, browser and device type).
- Google AdSense — Google and other third-party advertising vendors may use cookies and similar technologies to serve and measure ads. These cookies may be used to show ads based on your visits to Kappa Tracker and other websites.
- Optional sign-in — if you log in with Discord, we store your Discord user id and display username so we can save your tracker progress on our servers.
How we use it
Analytics helps us understand how the site is used. Advertising helps pay for hosting. We do not sell your personal information.
Account data (Discord sign-in)
We keep your Discord user id, username, and saved progress until you delete your account or ask us to delete it. To request deletion, use Report Bug in the site header and ask for account deletion.
Third parties
Google provides Analytics and AdSense. See Google's Privacy Policy, How Google uses data in advertising, and Google's use of cookies.
Your choices
- Depending on where you are, you may see Google's consent message (EEA, UK, Switzerland, and certain US states) or our site cookie notice with Essential only / Accept all. Use whichever applies to accept or limit analytics and ad cookies.
- Manage personalized ads: Google Ads Settings.
- Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
- Block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
